There is only one God (Deuteronomy 6:4). He is the creator of heaven and earth, and of all living beings. He has revealed Himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), in the son (Savior), and as the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit). (click here for more...) What is Pentecost? The Pentecostals of Marion is a diversified ministering body founded upon the Word of God. As such it shall believe, teach, and apply the Apostles' doctrine; share the Gospel of Jesus with genuine love, mercy and compassion within the community; minister help and healing to the hurting in the Church Body and the community provide a climate of worship for fellowship and spiritual growth that teaches and maintains traditional family values. The day of Pentecost was observed in Jerusalem fifty days after the celebration of the Passover, which commemorated Israel's deliverance out of Egypt. It is significant that this day was chosen by the Lord to begin the fulfillment of Joel 2:28: "I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh...." The Spirit came upon the waiting, praying disciples in an overwhelming manner. (Acts 2:1) Their complete commitment to Christ and His commissionevoked a mighty baptism of God's power. The Spirit-filled early church witnessed many outstanding miraculous happenings (Acts 3:1-7; 4:31). They were able to lead victorious lives as a result of their Pentecostal experience  No, Pentecost is not a denomination. It is a new birth experience.
